    Default Gibson goldrush

    Hi there
I' a lucky owner of a Gibson goldrush signed dave Harvey sept 2015.
Just to well understand, can this mandolin be called a master Model ?
Previously I had an F5G that had label with written master Model as well, but they are mandolins absolutely different, I think...

    Thank for you help

Nice mandolin. I like the looks of those Goldrush Gibby's, never played or heard one but they say they sound different because of construction or F-holes something? And no it may have a Master Model label, I had an F5-G that had a MM label, but Master Models are wel the Master Models, way more pricey because of all the fancy appointments.

From manolo - "I'm a lucky owner of a Gibson Goldrush signed dave Harvey sept 2015.". You most certainly are !!!. In my opinion, one of the most beautiful mandolin ever made by Gibson,
    Ivan
    Weber F-5 'Fern'.
    Lebeda F-5 "Special".
    Stelling Bellflower BANJO
    Tokai - 'Tele-alike'.
    Ellis DeLuxe "A" style.

Gibson has put the Master Model label on most every mandolin they have made including the Flatirons ...It can get confusing though...

The words "Master Model" mean almost nothing in the Gibson line. They have slapped this moniker on all sorts of mandolin, from mediocre to superb. No one will be confused if you call it a Gibson "Goldrush" model, however, because that is exactly what it is.
