Oulu Mandolin Orchestra plays Requerdos de la Alhambra

Hi! I am new in Mandolin Cafe forums and hope this is going to be how I planned it to be shown.

One of the most famous tremolo - guitar classic Requerdos de la Alhambra is performed by two mandolins, mandola, guitar and upright bass. Recording is made by a pair of mikes in one take.. Wish to hear your opinions.

I am from Oulu, Finland. Mandolin in our music culture does not make a big role when we are talking about mandolin in classical area. Of course there are mandolin players in folk and Irish music.

Oulu Mandolin Orchestra was a project of collecting classical repertoire with mandolin arrangements , rehearse it, have a gig and make recording for the orchestra members. We had a matinee and we made recording in a good acoustic hall with two microphones. It was many years back. I was twiddling that CD in my hands one day, and then had crazy idea to put some of the tracks for you guys to give sticks or polar bear mince..

Una limosna por el Amor de Dios is another nice tremolo-piece..
