Default Best Way to Sell a Kimble A-Style

Hi everyone! I used to play mando many years ago but haven't in over a decade and would like to sell a 2003 Kimble A-Style (#31). I've never sold an instrument before and wanted to gather folks' opinions on the best way to go about it. Classifieds here? Elsewhere? How do you figure out an asking price? Would love any thoughts you have. Apologies if I'm posting in the wrong forum...

Post a question about its value in "looking for info about mandolins"

Then, record a video, take some pictures, and post to the classifieds.

    Hi Keyton,

You've come to the right place. The Cafe is the best place to explore its value and find a buyer (we're a large community of mandolin fanatics). Be sure to read the posting guidelines so you know how it all works.

You should get some knowledgeable people weighing in on its value in the forum. Having bought and sold in the classifieds, my experience is that they work really well. Be sure to send the Cafe a donation once the sale is complete.

A Kimble should sell very easily!

    Best wishes,

    Bob

The classifieds here are more heavily trafficked than the boards. You will earn more money doing a . Once you settle on a price post an ad there. Kimble's are attractive instruments to folks. Once you place an ad in the Classifieds for it, you can't discuss it on the boards anymore as that violates our posting guidelines of keeping personal commerce out of the forums.
