Ouch, hope they're recovered quickly and in good condition...

Guitar Vista in New Mexico had someone steal four or five guitars about 4 or 5 weeks ago. Someone smashed his windows, ran in, took whatever was closest and ran out. I think they got a few Santa Cruz guitars and a few Eastman guitars. No cases, so that might be the tell tale sign when they are sold. The same for the ones stolen at McCabes.
Sorry, I am no longer suffering fools
Of all the things to steal, mandolins don't strike me as a quick or safe sale. But then, when do junkies ever think?

Just learned that one of these mandolins has surfaced and been identified. Posting this is a good excuse to remind folks of these. Never know when or where one will turn up.
I think I remember seeing this original post but with the serial numbers not in a web readable format, the image itself doesn't achieve much, so adding below so Google will pick them up and be truly searchable. That way a buyer could have a clear shot at finding out they were stolen if they were unaware of where they were lifted. May be available in a readable format elsewhere, don't know, but won't hurt to have them here as well. Over the years we've seen a pretty amazing number of instruments located and identified from forum posts.
All stolen without their cases from McCabe's in Los Angeles.
