    Default Slim Pickens mandolin??

    Do the following clues identify a famous mandolin: “Slim Pickens, Seven Grand, 10-1” ?? I’m trying to solve a riddle.

    Edit - I think I solved part of it. The clues don’t refer to the mandolin...
    "Well, I don't know much about bands but I do know you can't make a living selling big trombones, no sir. Mandolin picks, perhaps..."
