I'm always looking for new things to read, but I don't particularly like to read fiction or to just read for the sake of reading. I generally like reading with the intent to learn something new.
So, I'm curious what your favorite books are relating to music. Anything that doesn't require me to pick up my mandolin. Could be books on music theory, interesting bios, research on practicing, composition, or perhaps you like to just study sheet music. Just looking for ideas here. Thanks!
