Orrico tailpiece
I’ve been thinking about swapping out my tailpiece. I’ve seen several references here on Mandolin Cafe about Orrico tailpieces, and I think they’re drop dead gorgeous. I’m striking out trying to find one. Anyone have any ideas where they can be purchased?

Google helped me; one here for $90.
LATER: my apologies. The BarnBand referral site just linked me to an unreachable former listing at Elderly Instruments. The other sellers that listed Orrico tailpieces had them marked "not in stock/unavailable." You might well take George's advice above.

I am not sure he is making them anymore, I occasionally run into his brother, tho not often anymore, if i see him I will ask him.

I believe he's having trouble finding someone to cast the tailpieces for him.
