Slipped the mp3 disc in this morning, works beautifully! Nifty!

I was going to suggest Asleep at the Wheel's newish double album "Still the King" . but it is really best on vinyl

From Kevin - "...but it is really best on vinyl ." So many recordings are Kevin. I've demo'd Cd v Vinyl to friends a few times, playing the same recording on both, & A-B switching. There's no doubting the clarity & freedom from surface noise with CD,but with vinyl, there's a 'stage presence' & ambience that CDs simply don't have - still the best IMHO,

The KIA isn’t big enough to haul a turntable guys! But, I agree vinyl is better.

I still have quite a collection of vinyl records and I do convert them over to CDs and the hiss and needle noises are on the CDs so I enjoy that sound myself...I assume we are telling our age when we say we prefer vinyl to digital though...
Tim, I forget what year it was, but Plymouth cars tried installing a turntable in the glove compartment of their cars so records could be played while driving...What a bust that turned out to be, some engineer didn`t give that much thought.....And then along came 8 tracks..UGH…

Boys, I’m going to have way yonder too much cottage “stuff” for the turntable but, I guess I could get a roof rack...
Mark, I’ve listened to the mp3 for three days, I will leave it in until I’ve gotten through the whole thing or I leave for the cottage in 20 Days! I don’t spend as much time in the car on a day to day basis as I used to so, since I’m at cut 52, I might be done before the trip.

Not necessarily ;-) I'm 23 and know some people my age (including myself) that love (and buy) vinyl... Unfortunately, CDs are often much cheaper, so if you're short on money you better buy CDs.
I sometimes go to record stores and see how much music I can buy for 10 or 15€, and that mostly equals to 2- 3 CDs or no LP - and thats why my CD collection is growing much faster.

Willie, age tells when we still call them “records”!
