    Default Kentucky Mandolin Necks

    Very simply -

    Does Kentucky make any mandolins with a slimmer neck? (Note that a 'slim' does not mean 'narrow' - I mean the girth that is vertical from the fretboard-down, and not horizontal from side-to-side).

    I have a KM-272 and was recently told that the 700 line has basically the same neck. Are there any variations?

    Thanks!

    I can't answer your question but I'd be interested in a 505 or 950 level A style that doesn't have the sharp V in the neck by the nut. Aside from that, they're great instruments for the $

    Yamaha piano, clarinet, violin; generic cello;
    a pedal steel (highly recommended); banjo, dobro don't get played much cause i'm considerate ;}

    Shopping/monitoring prices: vibraphone/marimbas, rhodes, synths, Yamaha brass and double reeds
