New to Me MT2
I just have to brag about my new-to-me 2016 Collings MT2 cream top. I am more than thrilled with its tone and workmanship. I wanted all the specifics on the build, because of a question on whether the top was standard Adirondack or Italian spruce. I sent a message to Collings, who responded within hours with all the info-- Italian spruce top and a wide nut. The wide nut was a surprise, because it was not billed as such; I thought the different neck profile was what accounted for the different feel. I am pleased with it, to say the least and thank Collings for their great customer service.
I upgraded from a Kentucky KM505 and have no complaints about the Kentucky. This Collings is just gorgeous with all the great tone Collings are known for.
