    Default D’Addario Exp74 misleading advertising

The EXP74 strings I just got have packaging that state “Get Rewarded” with the Players Circle customer rewards program. After you sign up, you find out that the mandolin strings are not included in the program. Don’t waste your time looking for a nonexistent package serial number.

All the sets that I’ve bought in the past couple of years have had serial numbers.

There have been some fake D'addario strings circulating.

Where is it? I have a set, but I don't like to open them until I'm ready to use them. Just a UPC code on the outside.

I think these are legitimate EXP74 Mandolin strings.
D'Addario responded to my email that there are no rewards points for the mandolin strings.

I’m sorry; I can’t remember as I moved on to a different brand of strings last year

Once you break the initial cardboard seal they are on the inside where they color coded string gauges section is. Bottom right corner.

    I'm already up to 1200 points !!
That means I can get a D'Addario toothpick or something.

I finally cashed in all the points I'd been accumulating since the '80s. Got a nice canvas gig bag and a set of bass strings. (Being primarily a bassist who likes strings more on the dead side, the points didn't add up too quickly.)

Don from D'Addario here - Our Mandolin packaging was recently updated to include points. So out in the marketplace, it will take some time to for all the old packaging to work their way thru. If you have an old set that doesn't have points, if you log into your Players Circle account, you can ask the help desk about obtaining points for those older sets.

I ran into this a while back and they had me send a picture of all the packages, then added my points.
