    Default Wireless System Nux B-2

Just purchased a Nux B-2 wireless system for my mandolin and was curious if anyone else has used this before I go all in with my other two instruments.

My first impressions are very favorable as far as the sound performance. My main concern are the battery life and any disconnect issues it may have at the gig.

It has 4 channels, syncs right up, is easy to use, and goes into battery sleep mode after a minute or so of muting your signal. Very small profile on my Collings and pedalboard.

Have not used it at a gig yet and have NFI in this product.

    Full report after next weekend.

Manual says input impedance is 1 Mohm, so it should work with piezo pickup, 10Mohm would work better, probably.

Most pickups are 1meg, I know K&K's are, so it is a perfect match.

Used it at last nights gig and had no issues. Cannot tell the difference between using a cable and this unit, and after having it on for over 3 hours the battery indicator was at 75%.

During soundcheck I was able to wander out in the room and listen, and the ability to go anywhere on the stage is a huge plus.

Downside is that I have to remember to charge it up before the next gig although I think it would make it another 3 hours on the remaining charge.

I have used one for probably 20 hours worth of gigging. So far, so good.
