Need Help with Kentucky Serial #'s

I'm considering buying a used Kentucky and am particular about manufacture date. I've heard you can tell the date of manufacture from the serial #.

Does anyone know how to decode their numbering system? I saw one on CL with serial # 060302-2, for instance. Anyone know if you can tell the date from this?

Does the code, if any, hold true going back several years, or only for certain period(s) of time? Does it hold true for all their models? I'm only interested in fairly recent A models (10 years back or so).

Any one know for sure?

I'm not sure their numbering was ever a system. Perhaps they've changed, but I was always told you couldn't figure out the age by looking at the serial number, at least with the older ones. I remember one or two people contacting Saga and getting help, and plenty of others never hearing back. Good luck.
