    BION I owned one many decades ago. It is just about as silly as it sounds which is really not like much. Other historic info: Turturro is a either part of the Calace family (famous Naples mandolin makers, musicians and composers) or more remotely associated with them. More info here.

    Y'know, I'd probably get one of those ties.....if I still wore ties. Since I retired 11 years ago, the only time I wear ties is at funerals.

    The pair I have actually seen has the entire mandolin on each sock. The person was wearing the mandolins on the outside instead of to the inside like the picture.
