    One thing I particularly like is a mandolin and a violin made as a pair. Deliberately complimenting each other visually. That is really cool.

    I have not seen that before. I would have thought Campanella Stringed Instruments would have been the first to deliberately offer a matching pair mandolin and fiddle.
    A talent for trivializin' the momentous and complicatin' the obvious.

    I believe that's what the original f-style mandolins were trying to do, in copying the style and construction of violins.
