    I'd highly recommend getting in touch with Marty Jacobson, on the northwest side of the city, near Marietta. I took mine to him last week, and he did a superb job setting it up.

    Dodson Guitars and Dan Boyles Guitars are excellent. Both are near Jackson, GA, south of Atlanta but north of Macon.

    Dan told me that Mr. Dodson is slowing his practice. I saw Dan a couple of weeks ago.

    I second Marty Jacobson. He is just great to work with all around. Marty is the top pick in the metro area IMO.

    If he's not available, I hear good things about the guys at Atlanta Violins (in Roswell), or you can also recommend Maple Street Guitars, (more expensive with a long turnaround though).

    +1 on gettin’ in touch w Mr Jacobson! I visited his shop this afternoon w 2 sickly instruments and couldn’t be happier w the results, and a super nice guy to boot.
