    Default Flatiron "PerfRomer A" Label

    greetings,
I recently acquired a flatiron performer A, made in Nashville TN in 2001. The other day I noticed the label on the inside was misprinted, reading "Flatiron Perfromer A", the A seemingly printed over an F! My guess is they intended the label to be for a performer F, but when they realized the typo just stuck it on an A style. Definitely gave me a laugh as I had to re read it a few times before it registered. Its a great mandolin however , and the 'blem' doesn't bother me.

Anyone else have any label misprints?

You have probably got a unique instrument, mistakes like this on coins make them extremely valuable to numismatists.

Interesting that they misspelled Performer too.

My guess is a label that was supposed to say Performer F, and then they just stuck an A on it once they noticed the misspelling.
