Hello, this is the OP from that other forum. Yes, that's my dad next to Bill. The circumstances as best as I can remember is Bill was regally walking around the grounds and my dad introduced himself and asked if they could pose for a picture together. Kind of amazing that Bill gave him his mandolin to hold. I have another picture of dad sitting crosslegged on the ground actually playing Bill's Gibson. My dad was a hobby player who played the mandolin for more than 6 decades. He would be 102 if he was alive today.
