Marty Jacobson is in Atlanta -- maybe Marietta IIRC? -- and I think Barry Kratzer (Bulldog) is also near there, but I could be wrong.
Forum member rcc56 is in Chattanooga, as another option.
Already checked with Marty, , Whats Marietta IIRC? What part of GA is Barry?

He's saying Marty is "in Marietta if I recall correctly".
Barry Kratzer, though, is near Savannah.

Marty is actually in the Smyrna/Mableton area just south of Marietta. He's great to work with. There are also guys that work on Mandolins at Atlanta Violins (which is ironically in Roswell). Another option is Maple Street Guitars in Buckhead, but they are more expensive with a long turnaround time.
sumibuilt, Scottdale is near Decatur correct? Unfortunately, I think you may have to do a little bit of driving one way or another.
IMHO, the drive to Marty will be worth your time!

I just had a re-fret job on one of my Breedloves by Tom Haywood in Peachtree City. Fantastic work. Sounds like a new mandolin.
