Don't you love getting old? As my dad used to say, getting old is hard but it beats the alternative.
You could try experimenting with over-the-counter lotions. I use arnica gel, Voltaren (I'm not sure if you can get this outside Canada), and when things are really bad, Tiger's Balm (available in Chinese stores and in drugstores, usually for much higher prices). In the past I've found the house-brand arthritis lotion from US Wal-Mart to be good, but I haven't bought it for years. There seem to be no miracle cures, and everyone reacts differently. However, I've found these lotions provide some relief for me. Good luck.
