The problem seems to be the "hand offs" from another shipper. I always ask who the shipper is. If it's UPS i'll give my street address. If it's USPS (my preferred) i give them my PO Box. If they say FedEx Ground i'll ask for another shipper or cancel the order. The worst is when it leaves there on FedEx ... they phart around with it for a few days and lateral it to a Post Office local to them and then it wanders through the system. No laterals has meant no problem for me. Laterals from UPS to USPS are no fun either ... they're just not as bad.
