    Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,
We are now offering the new Rubner RMp Precision F style mandolin sets. The new gearing ratio is 16:1
As far as the build quality, I will leave it up to other fine Forum users to offer their views.
The goal was to produce a medium priced machine set with second to none performance.
Thank you all for waiting almost 3 years for the new design.

Are they available in worm over configuration as well?

Yes, worm over will be available in about 2 weeks.
There will be 2 button post length choices for the top D & A string because of the tuning machine headstock position change with worm over configuration.

The tuners I see in the pics on the link posted by Mike look like they have the wrong turning direction for "worm under" configuration.

    Adrian,
The sets do have the correct turning direction. This was a older picture of worm gear configuration meant for worm over sets. Good eye!
