Asturias - Solo Mandolin (Performed by Tiziano Palladino)
A beautiful performance by the virtuoso Italian mandolinist Tiziano Palladino, solo mandolin arrangement of the famous piece by Isaac Albeniz (1860-1909), original for piano and known above all in the countless versions for classical guitar. Solo mandolin arrangement by Giuseppe Torrisi.

Great,
I wonder if you saw Alon Sariel's version of this recently.

Re: Asturias - Solo Mandolin (Performed by Tiziano Palladino)
The Asturian tunes are my favorite of the northern Spanish regions (Gallicia, Basque, Leon...). Seems to have also gotten popular among a section of Irish players like Nuala Kennedy, Flook, etc.
Nuala Kennedy4 years ago:
"The Tunes are Lord Elcho's Lament, (trad.Scottish) Kafoozulum (trad. Scottish) Entemediu de Xuanin de Mieres (trad.Asturian) , Alborada Asturiana (trad.Asturian) From the record Noble Stranger."

I'm sure there are a number of classical guitarists aboard here who have an appreciation of the degree of difficulty of performing Leyenda on mndln. Impressive.
.....
That's nice stuff there Niles -
