    Default Kentucky KM630S on ShopGoodwill

One photo shows damage along the bass side of the fretboard, near the scroll. I can't tell if it is just finish damage or something more serious.

Is it possible that it needs a neck reset?
From my limited knowlege, It looks a little like the neck joint has failed in some way.

Looks like damage to the back of the neck too - maybe a split of some kind. Seems like a project mandolin at best.

Only $103 - could be a bargain if a person could do the work.

In the 3rd photo, looks light a light line where the heel graft would be. Wonder if it fell over and the joint gave way? Still would need to be reglued, but maybe easier than a full neck reset.
