Default Retirement gift. Fender Tele Tenor.

So, I'm retiring from 40 years of music retail, 26 years as a store-owner come Jan 1. My business partner gave me a pretty cool treat. Glad he got this in before Fender ran out.

Very appropriate retirement gift! No wonder I couldn't score a Fender tenor tele on Dietrich's website

I just saw Elvin Bishop with his Big Fun Trio. Baritone guitar, guitar, and cajon. Don’t need a bass or drum kit to rock. No pedals either, just tweed amps screaming for mercy.

    Congrats Ted.

    I am envious.

I'll have to be satisfied with my 2003 Tele Hiway 1, which I wish was a 4 string.
