That's an incredible piece of Loar history. Worth having! BTW, I would love to hear a recording of Lloyd. Are there any out there?

Well you may want to own the original but I believe that this site at University of Rochester has many issues of the Crescendo scanned for free download. I have that issue downloaded. It is the second one on the page I linked to above. The Loar article is on page 9 of the pdf.
