Default Need to find value for 1920’s? Vega Little Wonder mandolin banjo

I am trying to help a friend learn about this instrument she inherited from her grandfather. From looking around on the web I am guessing it is from the 20’s. Serial Number 57450. Frets are in great condition and show no wear. Neck straight. Jos B Rogers Jr stamped skin. A little TLC should make this player ready.

We would love to know approximate value. Are they desirable? Were very many of them made? Does anybody use these anymore?

    Thank you

Haven't been keeping track of prices on these, but this is a nice example with an original case. Big plus. when you string it I like to use two sets of tenor banjo strings. Mandolin strings are too heavy for my tastes. It is a banjo after all, and it will sound better.

This has been discussed on this recent thread. I hope you find what you need here:

"I never did have no trouble with him until he got big enough to be round with bigger boys and off from home. Then he used to follow all these harp blowers, mandoleen (sic) and guitar players."
