Looks great! Congratulations to Dennis and his crew on their successful move. I hope this new location proves to be all they had hoped for. Wouldn't I love to spend an afternoon there sampling the contents of that wall!

    Best wishes,

Wonderful! The only problem is that there are way too many mandolins. How can we, as service-minded mandolin players, fix this?

Hey! It's nice to see a store with lots of mandolins and just a few guitars, rather than the other way around - like it usually is. But how did a banjo sneak in there?

Not a video for those prone to motion sickness, but fortunately it's short.
I hope they do well in their new store (which I'm assuming isn't really located on a rocking boat).

Is this the Mandolin Store that was in Arizona? Where are you all now? I just started playing the mandolin this past December and moved to AZ just 4 years ago, I was thinking that would be a great store to visit.

Yup. I drove down to Surprise AZ last September. Two and a half days down, a couple hours looking at mandolins, two and a half days back. Came back empty handed, much to my wife's relief. I am still glad I did it, especially with their moving back East. I wish the new The Mandolin Store all the best. Maybe someday I can get to their new location.

Dennis, Good luck in your new location. I bought an Eastman 305 from you about 6 months ago, and could not be more pleased. Great instrument, and you guys put an awesome setup on it for me. Stay well!!

I called the Mandolin Store last year year when I was looking at the Custom F5G I now own. I was trying to get some background information on it. Luckily the original owner had purchased it thru them. They gave me the complete lowdown on it. They also spoke very highly of David Harvey.

Just last Friday, I also purchased one of the Mandolin Store Custom Shop models with the Wide Nut. It was born in February of this year. I had been looking at a Northfield Big Mon, but the more I looked at the Gibson, the more I liked it. I got to stop by very briefly and see the store and chat with Dennis.

Great vid about a great place!

I've said this a handful of times, and I'll say it again. Dennis Vance is a great, ethical businessman, and he somehow skillfully balances being a wonderful personal connection that precedes the business. I've been treated very well as a customer, and the hours of phone conversations about our favorite football teams and our families have been great.

Need a mando? You can't do better than Dennis and the Mandolin Store.

I was thinking the other day about the loss of Stan Jay and the legacy of the Mandolin Brothers store. While that hole in our soul can never be filled, I think Dennis Vance and the Mandolin Store have become a beacon for our community in many of the same ways. The new shop looks great. Much success on this new chapter!
