Yes, really aren't words enough for the sadness. Such a great human who touched millions of lives with his character and songs. So many people hit by this tragedy.
Thank you John.
So sad.

White #29R : Oh my!! This one is so AWESOME!!
Very sad. Prine was in a category all his own. He was one of those guys who was just “musical.” He assembled lyrics and performed music in a way that touched my heart and soul.
My prayers go out for his family.
Bob
We play his songs at our Jams at the River, sad news indeed!
Rest in peace. Sad day.

So sad, he will be missed. We are fortunate to have his music to listen to, he was a wonderful song writer.
THE WORLD IS A BETTER PLACE JUST FOR YOUR SMILE!
He was in a class of his own.
Oh my, I just read that. I am deeply saddened, I have always enjoyed his songs, he was truly gifted.
May he rest in peace.

So many words to live by came from his mouth and pen.
Terribly sad news. Ugh...
A daily punch in the solar plexus.
Mercy.

Blow your up TV, throw away the paper....
One of a kind. So sad. I'm just about wordless. He touched so many with his stories and humor. God speed!

Good night John. I hope you find that cigarette that's nine miles long.

"I'm convinced that playing well is not so much a technique as it is a decision. It's a commitment to do the work, strive for concentration, get strategic about advancing by steps, and push patiently forward toward the goal." Dan Crary
Farewell John, such a brilliant wordsmith. A huge loss to music. RIP
The world will be a little less lyrical from now on.
Rest well Mr. Prine.

This damned thing does not respect anyone. A huge loss for all of us who love music and creative song writing. Rest in peace, John.
