They're pictures of real Martins, but that's where reality stops.

It is the real thing. Many people prefer C.F. Martin to the much more reasonably priced Martin guitar.
Aye, it's a real great way to lose your $90!!

Thanks, guys! I need to remember scamdoc.com. You think it's about getting the $90 or the credit card info?

If it’s too good to be true, it probably is.
I kinda sorta fell for one of these once upon a time and "bought" an electric oud. I guess I figured, why would anyone bother to fake something that not very many people want? I used PayPal, so when no oud was shipped after a few weeks, it was easy to file a claim and get the money back.

And then one day a genuine Martin 000-28 magically showed up for $90.00. I wouldn't even bother getting involved with this one and I take stupid chances on things all the time.

Reminds me of the 1970’s, no one had any money.
No work, not much hope.
Problem was that every now and then a company would go bust or get robbed, or someone would get mugged and these deals actually would turn up the high street.
People would end up hoping for that.
About six months ago a friend of mine ordered a copy of a Martin D45 (minus the Martin Logo)from a builder in China. It turned out to be beautifully built, and it sounded good. We took it over to another friend who has a couple of genuine D-45's and compared it for build and tone qualities. It was very hard to tell the difference between them. I think he paid about $350 for it (not $90), but given that a real D-45 runs about $10K, it was a remarkable deal for a nice guitar. It is interesting to note that the friend with the genuine D-45's ordered one for himself, after playing the Chinese copy. Recent trade deals with China have suspended the import of these guitars, which is probably a good thing, given the current Covid-19 circumstances.
Not sure how this relates to this thread, but I thought it is an interesting story, and it supports the idea that not all Asian made instruments are of lower quality.
My Eastman 305 is a very well constructed instrument with good tone and playability.
Does this mean that a $90 Martin copy is any good....who knows.

The descriptions and pictures of these guitars are straight off Martin's site. I don't think they are selling copies, I think they are selling "give me your credit card".

There will be a buyer's market for everything when covid 19 is finally over.
There are also deals to be had now. I just bought a Martin Custom D with 36 months 0% financing for 36 months. That's $25 per month
