Radius on saddle HELP?

Hey Veterans, this is probably a dumb question. But here goes.... Does anybody ever use a radius saddle with a flat fretboard? I have a nice CA bridge that has a Collings radius on it. I would like to use it but the FB is flat. I know I can rework the saddle. Just Asking. Thanks JR

You can do it, but it will result in higher action and intonation issues. Best to either sand the saddle flat, or replace the saddle.
If it is unused, you might check with Steve at Cumberland and see if he'll swap it out for you for minimal cost, or if he'll sell you just a replacement saddle.
