Out of solidarity we will observe Blackout Tuesday

Since inception this site has attempted to serve as an oasis, a respite from the rest of the world, a place to relax, let down and get away from a lot of complicated news, hot button topics, and many other issues that are a part of our world. We have no problem with anyone discussing or being involved in these kinds of those activities--we just don't want to be the host of those, and have never seen a way to do it without it dissolving into a big fight no one wins. That's not what music is about, and the internet is filled with places that welcome this.

In solidarity with much of the music industry, on June 2 we will pause some activities of this site in observance of Blackout Tuesday. No new news articles, no new interviews, no new site announcements, no promotion of any virtual workshops or concerts, and no social media. The graphic below will appear on the home page with a link to this posting which is being closed without further comment.

The Forum and Classifieds will be open for use and we pass no judgement towards anyone choosing to use these, and suggest no one else should.

Regardless of whether you agree with us or not, we hope going forward you'll look at ways to make this world a better place for everyone regardless of race, religion, political leaning, sexual preference and other matters that too often divide us. We have a hell of a lot of work to do, this human race. Let's find the road for the healing to begin.
