Default Who makes 2 point models

New to the forum and to the mandolin.

I have fallen in love with the look of a 2 point mandolin. But I'm having a hard time finding a manufacturer. I have an entry level Mitchell now, and want to upgrade to the $1k-$500 range....Anybody have suggestions on 2-pt Mando makers?

In that range, Howard (Sonny) Morris in Oregon is your best (only?) bet. Most manufacturers (as opposed to luthiers) don't make 2-pointers. And most luthier models would be significantly more expensive.

NFI, but there is one in the classifieds. I have not played a Morris, but they are well thought of on the cafe.

I can only play half as much as I want, because I only play half as much as I would like.

Mike Atkinson from Colorado makes 2 Points. I’ve never played one but I’ve heard some positive things.

    Here is his website: http://mlatkinson.com/

I own a Morris mandolin. It’s not a two point but it’s a great mandolin. Have fun finding the right one.
