New owner of Pomeroy #243 Oval Hole
I'm the newest owner of this instrument, and really pleased to have it. I can't decide what I want to do more - look at it or play it. The fit and finish on it is exquisite, and the sound is a bit mellower than the MT-O I had, but crisper than my 1916 A1. It projects sound nicely, and rings with just enough resonance that it doesn't end up "muddy." After several days of playing, and looking, and playing, I'm quite pleased with this addition to my stable.
