Default Mary Spender on the viola-interesting video

Not mandolin, but I thought the content might be interesting for everyone. I subscribe to Mary for 2 reasons, she does a lot of guitar related coverage , her videos are well made and interesting, and I love to hear her talk. Ok, 3 reasons. Growing up in the 60s in rural Kentucky, well, you just didn't get exposed to a lot of things of this sort.
Have fun with this, investigate Mary's site, and learn something new today.

Ok, I'm just going to say it:

    I *love* the viola!

There. I said it. It's like a little baby cello! I still enjoy a good viola joke though (thinking of TwoSetViolin right now... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VOGDF9FjCKU). And there's always Dvorak's "American" string quartet that starts out with that lovely viola theme: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_b_rwtDlUXA

    It’s Danish Pete

Mary’s awesome, and her music is great.
