Davy Stuart custom getting closer
Over a year ago I commissioned a custom Davy Stuart build, it's larger bodied version of his 18" scale flat-top mandola, intended to be strung as a 4-stringer. Basically a super-short-scale tenor guitar to allow for some melodic work as well as the usual chordal stuff. The other main custom thing is an adjustable mandolin-style bridge.
The build started about a month ago (finally!), here is the progress:
Davey Stuart tenor guitar (based on his 18" mandola design).
Eastman MD-604SB with Grover 309 tuners.
Eastwood 4 string electric mandostang, 2x Airline e-mandola (4-string) one strung as an e-OM.
DSP's: Helix HX Stomp, various Zooms.
Amps: THR-10, Sony XB-20.
