Kentucky 272a

Hi all
Has anyone here have opinions on Kentucky’s. A272 or alternatives?
I’m interested in trying an oval soundhole....

I had one for a while, but the brown 276 version. I bought it used from a cafe member. It was well-made and very playable, but it wasn't quite what I was looking for sound-wise. I re-sold it on the in the classifieds to someone who was very happy with it.

There's quite a few threads on the 272. Some have video demonstrations. I'd use the search option on the forums to look for 'em.

I had the 272 for a bit. I liked the sound, but ultimately the feel of the neck just wasn't for me and I traded it in. It has a longer neck length than traditional oval holes, which was a selling point for me. Just didn't like the thickness of it.
