Stacy Phillips had a book which I have in downloadable form that has a very nice transcription of Scotland and a lot of other Lesser-known Bill Monroe instrumentals. While searching for the exact title (Stoney Lonesome) I just learned that Stacy passed away in 2018. Stacy authored a lot of great books in the bluegrass genre. His Bluegrass fiddle book is chock-full of great licks for the mandolin
His Bill Monroe Instrumental book is standard notation only which made it very versatile.
Yet another reason to learn standard notation.
