    Default LaPlant mandolins

I see some reviews from 2009 but it seems they no longer build them..no web info.
    Are they retired?

I think the last I heard, last year or so, was that Lloyd was retiring (wonderful man), and that his son was continuing the building business. I have no direct contact info.

I just saw Lloyd a month ago and at the age of 91 he is still building guitars and mandolins.

Lloyd is not really into the internet, but he is really, really into playing every single fiddle tune you know till way past everyone else has called it quits and gone to bed. At 91.
