    Default Parlour King 19" tenor

Been on with a pair of Parlour Kings' recently - the one relevant to this part of the forum is the guitar on the right. Its a cedrela and mahogany 4 string Parlour King tenor. 19" scale, with a flat soundboard.

I'm looking forward to trying it out. It'll be the first 19" scale tenor I've made.

Carving the 19" Parlour King tenor neck last week. The guitar is off to the spray shop now...

Its been ages since I started this instrument, but I've been slowed down by the weather of late - it's been very humid here in Queensland and that has prevented me gluing things together for weeks on end. But there have been enough decent days in my humidity-controlled room to get things finished.

Anyway, this lovely little 19" scale Parlour King tenor is now ready to head off to her new home in the USA.

That's very impressive. Seems like the large lower bout and sound hole must do quite a bit for the low end and that narrow top bout is really eye catching. Wish I could hear it - and cedar to top it off (literally)? Phew
