Default Best Replacement Case For A Flatiron Pancake?

Hello. I am looking for a hardshell case for a Flatiron pancake mandolin. This topic has not been covered recently, and I know suitable older cases are not always presently available.

Anybody know of any cases made or available today that will work well with a Flatiron Flattie?

    Thanks.

Breedlove used to make a case that fitted pancake mandolins perfectly - it was this one, NFI on my part:

If the price is showing up in euros ignore that - Reverb just switches because I'm posting from Ireland, but this case was for sale in the States.

I use a regular $40 Amazon style case that I fitted with 2 small supplementary foam blocks at the tail end to take up the extra space... don't have a picture though sorry.

I also use a soft ukulele case for mine. Super nice to just toss over my shoulder. $25 or so on amazon.

I've been on a similar quest recently to find something better than the chipboard case that came with an '83 Flatiron 2M, and was looking at this Profyle gig bag from Northfield: https://www.northfieldinstruments.co...alhoun-gig-bag
Although I haven't purchased one yet to confirm it's a good fit, I did speak with someone at Northfield and gave them the soecs.
They checked and said it should work well.

This is the style case I was referring to... they USED to be $40: https://www.amazon.com/Hardshell-Mic...%2C167&sr=8-12

I'm in the process of fixing my flatty, but you can see how it fits in this case. Its one I had from another instrument which I put in a nicer case.

I used 2 blocks of white ethafoam that were used in some packaging from something. With some sticky backed velcro, I covered one side in the furry stuff and the other side in the coarse stuff and then put a piece of the furry side at the tail end of the case. It keeps it from sliding around in the case since its a little big for the mandolin.
