    Default The Ash Grove Multitrack

Trying out some new software (Spire) on a simple, but lovely tune. Fingers crossed.

    Ash Grove 2.mp3

    Dang, no luck!

Nice mix, Mike. Not software I was aware of - I am a REAPER user.

I can’t even get it to open for me! I’m on an iPad...is that a problem?

Recording was very simple, btw, with Spire (I don’t have the “Studio”). Uploading it was my problem.

    Anyway, thanks!

Interesting problem re your iPad, Mike. I was uploading a video for somone at the weekend in .wma format (I have a Windows PC) and he contacted me to say he could not open it. I checked if he was using a Mac and yes, he was. I converted the file to .mov and he then managed to open it. I was not aware that mp3s could cause that problem on an iPad.
Hope you get a solution to this.

I guess I could try converting that file to something else...maybe. But it feels like a lot of work to blow my own horn.

Spire, btw, is a worthwhile App for recording up to 8 tracks. Probably not studio quality, but very simple UI, decent quality sound.

Audacity gets a bum rap from a lot of people but it is so easy to use
with a ton of plug-ins available.

    Very intuitive interface.
