Kentucky F-Style Oval Hole

About eighteen years ago (give or take a year) I bought a mint pre-owned Kentucky F-style oval hole 800-series mandolin. I parted ways with it fir a few honest reasons and sold to a guy in Canada that owned the same-vintage sister model with “f” holes. He was so happy to buy it and I was happy for him. I’ve often wondered about the specs about that instrument and wouldn’t mind seeing pics of one. I’ve lost touch with the buyer and forgot the model. Would anyone here recall the model, specs, country of origin, and pics? I thought it was made in Japan since I bought it used and that’s about when production was moved to China (I think). Thanks!

I believe Kentucky production moved from Japan, to Korea, to China.
