    Never have been a big fan of TS picks. Gave all of mine away many years ago, when they were completely legal. Was only playing guitars then, not mandolin family instruments. If I were wanting to reproduce the TS tone, I would look at picks made from glass. To my ears, that is what TS sounded like. Was not fond of the "clacking".

    I don't remember ever seeing Pickboy picks mentioned here but they are my favorite for mandolin and guitar. They make a ton of different picks but this style is my favorite. YMMV.

    Apologies to all who want to discuss the alternatives for this material. We have a long history of individuals who don’t understand our well established policies of restricting the discussion of protected species that makes the topic devolve into areas we are uncomfortable moderating.
