    Default Billy Joe Shaver

I've loved his music for years. This one is my favorite.

i dig Billy Joe, too. In fact, we do this song in our Bluegrass band. Good tune.
He was not really on my radar until several years ago. A local music venue does an annual multi-day cavalcade of bands event over the 4th of July holiday, a multi genre bash. My wife & I spent a day there & Mr. Shaver played. We really enjoyed him. As you can see, I got my picture taken with him. He was a very warm & friendly gentleman. Funny thing was, he thought he knew me & we had met before, we hadn’t.
Nonetheless, an all round pleasant experience musically & personally.
