Default Can anyone help me identify this?

Hi all, sorry if this is the incorrect place for this question, but I was given this instrument and I can't figure out what it is.

It has 12 strings, in 6 pairs of 2. The closest I could find was a Mandriola, but it has 12 strings with 4 sets of 3 strings.

Its been really frustrating me trying to identify this, and trying to figure out what strings I need to buy and how to tune it.

    Thanks in advance!
