Amen to that, Brother. It is hard to believe what a big part of my life this site and the community it has gathered have become. The benefits to my music and my life have been immeasurable. I thank Scott, his crew, and all of you for that.

There are a lot of time sucks on the web, this is not one of them.

Thanks to Scott, Dan, Ted, and Mike for working to make this a great place to be. Thanks especially to all of the folks who post here and have built such a good community from disparate sources, backgrounds and ideas.

Found this site in the late 1990s along with Mandozine. Met a lot of great friends and played and heard a lot of good music because of it. To many more!

Finding this marvelous place was one of the first things I ever did on the internet. A big thank you to Scott and Dan for getting it up and keeping it running!

One of my favorite memories was the day mandopete started the now-famous "Post A Picture of Yourself" thread. I clearly recall sitting in front of my Windows 95 machine, on dial-up internet service waiting and waiting for the photos to load and all the fun we had with that!

Mandolin Cafe has truly been a pillar in my music life!

Hey Mark, I'll raise a glass and toast the Cafe with you, but 9:14 AM is a little early for me to do so. I'll wait until sometime this afternoon, if you don't mind. Then, perhaps I'll toast more than once to make up for lost time!

Reassuring to see so many die hard mandolin fanatics, especially the new arrivals.
