    Default Pava Thumbwheels

I stripped out the thread on one thumbwheel on my Pava A5 Player. I tried contacting Pava through their Ellis/Pava website for a replacement part or even a source where I could buy some but never heard back. Does anybody know where I would buy a replacement thumbwheel? Word of advice based on my experience, if you want customer service buy a Collings or Martin.

Might be better to call them directly, sometimes the online contact forms are a little wonky. Here is their phone number 512-442-4941 which I got from their website.

There are places that sell the thumb wheel sets. Bill James has them on his site:

You might want to grab the threaded posts as well just to make sure they are the same thread. At .75 a post it's not a huge investment.

FYI- Pava got back to me and is taking care of my problem. They are fixing an email problem on their website.

    Faith in Pava restored!

All the people at the Ellis shop are top-notch. Emails can get lost in the shuffle. Give them a call in the future--they will take care of you like you are the most important customer they have. Speaking from experience.

I had Tom Ellis personally call me back when I had an issue with the finish on my pava. Not only did they fix the issue but they paid all the shipping costs. I think their customer service is excellent.

I take the blame here. There is a technical issue with the Pava contact page email. I am having it fixed. Thumb wheels going out today.
