Default James mandolin tailpiece: Made in USA

For those of you that are curious about the origins of things... I reached out to Bill James and confirmed that the James mandolin tailpiece is made in USA; Minnesota to be precise.

Was there any doubt about that?

I didn't see it listed on their website so I did a bit of searching and couldn't find it anywhere. Probably doesn't matter to most people anyway, but just wanted to let y'all know in case...

It is good info. Also strange that he doesn't mention that. You could tell him to add that. A good sales feature for his well-received tailpiece.

There was no question in my mind where it was made but Axiom does import some materials. That is on their website. Bill James sells some great stuff and to be honest, I'd buy that tailpiece from him no matter where it was made. It's an excellent product.

I'm probably just a nerd for how things are made, but I'd LOVE to see some behind the scenes videos of these coming together.
