The legendary piper from The Bothy Band talks about his life.
    Lots of great music.

I've just watched the program about Geraldine and Eamonn Cotter, who I have to admit I really knew nothing about.

I'm blown away. It really was one of the best programs about music I have ever seen.

Loved the Paddy program. I was curious to see if it would mention his time spent in NH, but no. He had some very interesting things to say about rhythm and accompaniment. But speaking of accompaniment, I had to notice the 30 seconds from roughly 30:00 to 30:30; you can see one of the big differences between Donal and Michael right there! Donal is giving it the real propulsive strum, while Michael's is the more mellow, slightly groovy. Two different essential right hand strums there, too. And two amazing accompanists.
    Thanks for mentioning this, Dagger!

Yeah, it's always great to see footage of the Bothies. Still unrivalled, probably the best band ever.
Nice to hear from you. Hope you're all well.
